Didcot Town boss Francis Vines has received a boost after seven players put pen to paper for the Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West side.
They include player-coach Craig Faulconbridge, Aaron Turner, Sam Charles, Alfred Ajani, James Keller, Lee Henderson and Simeon Howell.
Meanwhile, the Railwaymen have teamed up with fast food outfit McDonald’s to launch an ambitious project for a new stand at their npower Loop Meadow Stadium.
They hope to create a covered seated and standing area enclosure, with funding support from McDonald’s and supporters.
McDonald’s, whose Didcot branch is situated on the A34 interchange adjacent to Milton Park, are already providing sponsorship for their youth teams.
Supporters can make donations by buying a seat and the club hope to have the stand constructed by the start of the 2012-13 season.
