Alice Read, from Farmoor, near Oxford, has become a national junior champion at the tender age of 13.
She saw off competition from around 100 other surfers, some of whom were a year older, to win her class over two days at Rutland Water.
Alice, who turned 13 two weeks ago, has been windsurfing for three years and trains at Farmoor Reservoir, near her home.
She is already a member of the national junior squad, training during the winter at the national windsurfing and sailing centre in Weymouth.
