Abingdon United fought back from 2-0 down to force a draw against play-off hopefuls Hungerford at Northcourt Road in Division 1 South & West.
Hungerford were out of the blocks quickly and went 2-0 up within the first ten minutes.
Firstly, Jemel Johnson swept the ball inside a post on the turn after only four minutes.
Then Jamie Gosling added the second into the bottom corner.
But eight minutes later, Abingdon were back in it when Yashwa Romeo headed home Tom Austin’s corner. Abingdon were then indebted to Alan Foster, who denied Johnson, while at the other end, namesake Hun-gerford keeper James Foster tipped a Romeo shot over the bar.
In the second half, a swift counter-attack saw Abingdon level. Romeo charged down the left wing before bursting into the area and firing over Foster.
Hungerford substitute Richard Guy had two chances to win the game for the visitors, but was denied by the bar both times.
Abingdon Utd: A Foster, McCready, Halliday, Carnell, Wimble, Parfitt, Austin (Orgad 85), Melledew, Lewis (Griffin 86), Romeo, Davis. Subs not used: Allaway.
Attendance: 95.
