Didcot Town boss Ady Williams expressed his disappointment at his players’ performance following the 3-0 defeat to Oxford City which condemmed them to the drop.
“I feel sorry for the supporters,” said Williams.
“Even at the end there, they were all clapping us off.
“It’s disappointing that we had the chance to get ourselves out of trouble and looking for a performance.
“But too many players were missing today. I said to the players you don’t want to come in thinking what if, but unfortunately that is what happened.
“This is a great club and I feel gutted for everyone.
“We have had a few decisions against us, but we can’t blame anyone, but ourselves.
“I haven’t thought about next season yet, my focus was all about winning today.
“I think there is a job to be done here.
“I will be speaking to the chairman (John Bailey) to get something sorted out.”
