Clanfield 4 (Dickinson 14, Keyes 52, Olphert 70, Bishop 89)

Tytherington Rocks 0

FOUR second half goals enabled Clanfield to end their Division 1 West campaign on a winning note with an impressive display.

However, Bicester Town’s 1-0 win over Malmsbury means that the west Oxfordshire side will need both Bicester and Cheltenham Saracens to lose today if they are to finish in the top two.

After a goalless first half in which Clanfield’s Dan Bishop hit a post, hosts went ahead two minutes after the restart.

Karl Dickinson put away Bishop’s corner, before they doubled their lead when Lee Keyes fired home Kevin Lewis’s pass.

Sam Reason set up Steve Olphert for No 3 and Bishop rounded off the emphatic win with a fine lob in the last minute.

Winterbourne Utd 1 (Potts 87)

Headington Ams 3 (L Cuff 45, 73, OZaja 65)

LUKE Cuff helped himself to a double as champions Headington Amateurs wrapped up their season with a stylish win.

Winterbourne made all the early running, but a combination of poor finishing and fine goalkeeping from Harry Jenkins meant they failed to turn their dominance into goals.

And they paid the price when good work from Klaus Buckle and Aftab Hafiz saw Cuff open Headington’s account.

After the break, Ollie Zaja made it 2-0 with Cuff the provider.

Hafiz played in Cuff, who doubled his tally with No 3, to make it 30 for the season.

Minutes later, Jenkins capped a top-drawer display when he saved Neil Ward’s penalty.

Although Jimmy Potts clawed one back at the end, it was too late.

Letcombe 1 (Pendell 90)

ADAM Pendell scored the winner in Letcombe’s last-gasp victory.

With no fewer than ten first-team regulars missing, Letcombe had no substitutes and threw in James Beard, Matthew Warne, Joel Smith and Chris Darby for their debuts.

And they started brightly with Smith firing in Adam Pendell’s pass, only to be flagged offside.

After the break, Letcombe were fortunate when Matt Gittins’s chip rebounded off the bar.

Minutes later, Smith was brought down just outside the penalty area when clean through, but Letcombe wasted the free kick.

With time running out, the game looked destined for a draw, only for Pendell to drive home a low cross into the bottom corner from 12 yards to take the points.
