FOUR Oxfordshire girls will play for the South West Under 15s in a national festival at Hartpury College this weekend.
Olivia Jones, Imogen Reay, Rowan White and Maddy Peris, all from Wallingford Maidens, fly the flag for the county in three 20-minute matches against the North, London & South East and the Midlands.
They were selected after impressing in trials earlier this year.
- BANBURY Under 10s won their fourth tournament of the season after triumphing in the Worcester Festival.
Tries from Olly Broughton, Hector Stapleton, Alfie Barbeary and Tom Chesser earned Banbury a 20-0 victory over the hosts in the final.
- BANBURY Under 13A defeated Chinnor 38-7 to win the Oxfordshire ten-a-side competition at Chipping Norton.
The under 13B and under 14 events saw Chinnor beating Banbury.
