Poor defending in the fifth minute led to Oxford United falling behind against Lincoln City at Sincil Bank.
Josh O'Keefe was left unmarked to score at the second attempt after his first shot wrong-footed Ryan Clarke and came back off a post.
But five minutes from half-time, Steve MacLean equalised when he pounced to shoot high into the net from six yards after Imps goalkeeper Trevor Carson spilled a 20-yard shot from Tom Craddock.
