Ryan Macer bagged a brace as Cowley Crusaders battled back to beat Rose Hill 4-3 in the RT Harris Oxford City FA Premier Cup.

A shock looked on the cards as they trailed 2-1 at the break, to goals from Daniel Johnson and Sam Wise, but a second-half revival saved the cup favourites’ blushes.

Macer netted twice for Cowley, with Andy Paine and Tommy Hayday also on target. Ricky Hastings hit Rose Hill's third goal to set up an exciting finale.

In the Doug Hobbs Cup for Division 1 teams, Inter Oxford triumphed 2-1 away at Union Street.

They took the lead when Doran Soloman rounded the keeper before slotting home.

After the break, Alex Pratchett fired in the equaliser, before Soloman hit his second to seal victory.

Fairview won 3-0 at North Oxford, with goals from Sid Mobbs, Richard De Luca and Michael Brookes.
