North Leigh chairman Pete King says the club will take it on the chin after being ordered by Zamaretto Southern League chiefs to replay their Division 1 South & West match against Bridgwater.

The original game, on February 1, was abandoned on 76 minutes due to fog with North Leigh leading 5-0.

It will now be replayed on Tuesday, March 29.

“We expected this to be the decision,” said King, who said the club would not be appealing.

“I would have thought that the league could have waited until after we played Bridgwater this Saturday before announcing the decision.”

Manager Mark Gee added: “It would have been nice to be awarded the points, but we have to get on with it.”

Meanwhile, North Leigh will be without six players when they travel to Taunton Town in Division 1 South & West on Tuesday.

Aaron Posey is out after suffering an ankle injury early on in their 5-4 win against Bideford, while Matty Taylor (ankle), Alfie Saunders (away), Toby Clarke (neck), Niall Hodgkins (away) and Joe Burnell (work) also miss out. George Redknap is also doubtful.

Abingdon United have a number of injury problems ahead of their home game with Bridgwater.

Yashwa Romeo (hamstring) and Paul Orgad (hip) are doubtful, as is Shaun Wimble who was studded in the groin during the 3-1 defeat at Taunton on Saturday.

JP Mills (back) is definitely out, though Graham Lewis returns.

Meanwhile, keeper Alan Foster could be sent out on loan to Cirencester to get some match-time.

Banbury United travel to Bashley in the Premier Division, having failed to score in five of their last six games.

Didcot Town are not in action as scheduled opponents Hednesford play in the Staffordshire Senior Cup.
