Carl Standen hit a superb hat-trick as Ardley United returned to winning ways at the top of the Premier Division.

Standen opened his account early on, then Troy Bryan doubled the lead five minutes later.

Still celebrating, Ardley were caught napping as Shane Cooper-Clark reduced the arrears.

After the break, Standen restored Ardley’s two-goal lead, then completed his treble when Bryan set him up to make it 4-1.

Lee Booth pulled one back to give Ascot a glimmer of hope, but a penalty from Danny Bone and a strike from Andrew Stidder wrapped up the points for the home side.

Wantage Town’s title hopes suffered a blow as they were held to a goalless draw by Thame.

Home keeper Milan Barisic saved well from Adam Bruce in the first half, while Wantage’s Ellis Langford struck an effort just wide.

After the break, Wantage had a penalty appeal overturned late on when Stuart Barr appeared to be pulled back in the box, but the referee waved away the protests.

Abingdon's six-match unbeaten run came to an end at Binfield.

Town went in front when Mark Janes’s testing cross was turned into his own net by Garry Callaway.

Carl Davies equalised before half-time, and although Janes went close for Abingdon after the break, home substitute Garry Sargeant netted late on from time to seal the points.

Luke Cuff slammed a four-timer as Headington slammed struggling Malmesbury in Division 1 West.

The visitors turned up with only ten men, and Headington were in ruthless mood.

They led 2-0 at half-time as Neil Lockhart and Aaron Williams put the home side in charge.

Benji Cuff made it 3-0 from close range, before Luke Cuff notched his first.

Ollie Zaja added Headington’s fifth, then Luke Cuff rattled in three more in a 15-minute spell to complete the rout.

Bicester Tn 1 (Lovegrove 85)

Adam Lovegrove hit a late goal as Bicester moved up to fifth.

After a goalless first half, the visitors sealed the points when Lovegrove took advantage of a defensive slip to slide the ball past Clanfield keeper Chris Brain.

Woodley Tn 2 (Jeffrey 22, Jewell 89)

Milton Utd 2 (Hooper 55, Butler pen 76)

Milton were hit by a last-minute equaliser in Division 1 East.

The home side led 1-0 at half-time through a Richard Thomas strike, but Milton went 2-1 up as Chris Hooper levelled, then Ross Butler fired them in front from the penalty spot.

But the home side hit back to snatch a point as Dan Jewell netted a minute from time.
