ASTON Rowant have been drawn at home to Serious Cricket Home Counties Premier League rivals Horspath in the npower Village Cup second round on Sunday, May 1.
The county’s highest-ranked entrants by league position in the competition are among 14 Oxon clubs who have received a bye through the first round.
Shipton-under-Wychwood, who finished runners-up in the national final at Lord’s last September, open up with a home tie against Steeple Aston in round two.
Challow & Childrey are back in the competition, and have been drawn away to Cumnor in round one.
The winners will be at home to either Kidmore End or Great & Little Tew.
1st round (April 17): Cumnor v Challow & Childrey, Kidmore End v Great & Little Tew.
2nd round (May 1): Cumnor or Challow & Childrey v Kidmore End or Great & Little Tew, Tiddington v Deddington, Sandford St Martin v Kingston Bagpuize, Peppard v Shrivenham, Cropredy v Hanborough, Aston Rowant v Horspath, Shipton-under-Wychwood v Steeple Aston, The Baldons v Oxford Downs.
