Julius Muraga (Kidlington) scored twice as Oxfordshire under 16s beat Dorset 3-1 at Hamworthy United in the South West Counties Youth Championship.

Muraga fired his side in front on 16 minutes, latching onto Zac McEachran’s pass to give the home keeper no chance.

Four minutes later, the same pair linked again for Muraga to slide home his second.

Dorset pulled a goal back when a corner was headed home by Ben Sabine.

The hosts pushed forward looking for an equaliser, forcing Oxon keeper Luke Sanders (Kidlington) to be alert and preserve his side’s lead.

It was not until 20 minutes from time that Oxon made sure of victory.

A good passing move involving several players ended with Tom Moore (Oxford City} crossing into the box for William Vanderburge (Kidlington) to score.
