Marston Saints left it late before beating Witney & District FA side Ducklington 2-0 in the third round of the Banbury Charity Cup.
After a goalless first half, in which Ducklington’s John Hudson went the closest to breaking the deadlock, Oxfordshire Senior League side Marston started to assume control after the break.
But it wasn’t until the 80th minute that Marston breached the Ducklington defence with a cool finish from Mark Gaul.
And as Ducklington threw men forward in search of an equaliser, Matthew Holton found the bottom corner to seal victory for Marston.
Andy Woodley and Matt Smith hit the target as Charlbury Town beat local rivals Enstone 2-0 to reach the fourth round.
Hailey crashed out following a 2-0 defeat by Oxford Irish.
