Banbury Bulls lost 17-7 at bottom club Leamington to all but extinguish their survival hopes.
Bulls, who lost skipper Eddie Phillips to a knee injury, could not convert territory and possession into points and went down to a more committed side.
Leamington created an overlap to score the opening try, which they converted.
And they went 12-0 up with a try that stemmed from a turnover. Try No 3 made it 17-0 at the break.
Bulls improved in the second half, with flanker Will Oldham scoring a try, converted by fly half Mike Smith.
