Bicester head coach Alec Smith had mixed feelings after beating Gosford All Blacks.
“That is three wins in a row and we are pleased with that,” said Smith.
“I think it could have gone either way. They dominated up front, but we had a bit more of it in the backs.
“It certainly wasn’t what you would call a good performance and it wasn’t the sort of rugby we have been trying to play.”
Gosford head coach Matt Watts said: “We managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
“I was very disappointed to lose, but I was still pleased with the way we played in the first half.
“I think we dropped the ball more times in that match than we have done in my three months coaching them.”
