Chris Wilder has been pipped to the npower League Two manager of the month award by Gillingham’s Andy Hessenthaler (left).

Hessenthaler’s side took maximum points from their two games against Port Vale and Macclesfield Town Former Charlton boss Alan Curbishley, who chaired the judging panel, said it was Gillingham’s seven goals, four of which came away from home, which swung the award his way.
