Oxford United now top another table.

They already have the longest run in England and Scotland since last keeping a clean sheet. It stands at 17 league games.

League One neighbours Swindon Town are second with 15 games.

And the U’s also top the table for the longest run since they last drew.

That stands at 14 games, with Gillingham next on ten.

But with three points for a win, that suits the U’s, who have won five and lost one of their last six matches.

“If we’d beaten Southend and drawn at Torquay, and drawn at Aldershot, people would be saying what a great run we’re on,” said boss Chris Wilder.

“Yet we’ve actually got a point more than that the way it’s worked out.”
