Carterton were 2-0 ahead inside ten minutes with a brace from Stacey Oakey.
Sophie Thomas made it 3-0 on the half-hour, before Courtney Frankish pulled one back for the home side.
An own goal restored Carterton’s two-goal lead, before Brooke Fry again reduced the arrears.
Another own goal made it 5-2 as Oakey’s cross was deflected in by a home defender.
A disputed penalty awarded for handball gave Stony Stratford their third goal as Fry fired home from the spot.
