Sadie Lapper, the South Clubs’ League’s top scorer, has moved from Witney to Banbury, and she scored a hat-trick on her Banbury debut in a 4-0 victory away to their bogey side Sonning.

The win, coupled with Witney’s 2-2 draw against West Hampstead, lifted Banbury back to the top of Division 3A.

Lapper pounced on a loose ball in the D and slammed home to score her first.

After half-time, Banbury were quick to settle back into their rhythm and Lapper grabbed her second goal off a short corner.

On a counter-attack, after a great passage of play from Ruth Tuthill, Lapper deflected in her third goal.

Shortly afterwards, Ann Glover made it four with a well placed chip over the keeper.

City of Oxford ran up double figures away to bottom club Eastcote 2nd.

Kirsty Brammer (3), Rachel Lammey (2), Kim Haynes (2), Caitlin Bailey-Williams (2) and Mel Banton got City’s goals in a 10-0 scoreline.

Oxford Hawks strengthened their position at the top of Division 1 with a 1-0 win over title rivals Havant.

Havant battled hard and put pressure on the ball. A number of short corners were stopped by the Havant goalkeeper, who made some excellent saves.

In the second half, Hawks defender Henri Coles produced some superb play.

And Hawks finally broke through when Takara Haines skilfully buried a drag flick from a penalty corner.

High-flying Wallingford overwhelmed Reading 2a 9-0 in Premier 1 of the Trysports 3 Counties League.

Kirsty Ross scored five times, with other goals coming from Tally Fisher (2), Tazz Mottram and Suzi Pegg.

This means Wallingford have played 11, won 11 and are ten points clear at the top.

Oxford Hawks 2nd lost 3-1 at home to Wycombe Rye 2nd, with Claire Werlinger scoring.
