Oxford Harlequins will give a debut to new signing Chris Tuatara when they host Cleve in National 3 South West tomorrow (2.30).

The former Samoan junior rugby league international starts at inside centre as Quins look to get 2011 off to a flier.

Director of rugby John Brodley said: “He just turned up as many Antipodeans have done here in the past.

“We are looking for big things from him.”

Tautara’s arrival allows Anthony Cope to move to scrum half, while prop Pete Boulton’s broken arm will rule him out for the rest of the season.

Brodley added: “We have got Cleve followed by Coney Hill, who are the bottom two in the league.

“The fixtures have thrown us a really good opportunity to make a positive start to the new year.”

Chinnor add wing/full back Ben Farr to their squad for the trip to Redingensians.

Having played just once in December, Chinnor are keen to rediscover the winning momentum they had previously.

Head coach Jason Bowers said: “We had a good training session on Tuesday and are looking forward to an exciting 2011.”

Oxford University lock Tom Evans makes his Henley Hawks debut in their National 2 South clash at Clifton.

Evans, who impressed with his line-out work in Oxford’s Varsity Match victory, is a direct replacement for Howard Parr, who has ret-urned to Otley.

Welshman Evans will be partnered in the second row by Jeremy Giles as Dave Clements has a shoulder injury.

No 8 Matt Payne is suspended, so Andy Downing steps in, while Danny Wells returns at outside centre and James Gaunt at scrum half.

Wallingford, who host Buckingham in South West 1 East, have bolstered their coaching staff over the Christmas holiday.

Former head coach Chris Norrington returns to assist the backs, while ex-London Scottish and Birmingham & Solihull lock Gerry Hill joins as forwards coach.

Lonsdale Gayle is the new second-team coach .

Wallingford ended 2010 in better form and are keen to push on.

Director of rugby Martin Moran said: “This is a big game against another club struggling at the moment.

“It’s an opportunity to put some points between us and the clubs in the bottom four.”

Witney visit Reading, who were the first side to defeat them this season.

Danny Godfrey comes in at hooker, with Pierre Dubost returning at fly half.

Things can only get better for Banbury, who host Camp Hill in Midlands 1 West, having won just one league match in 2010-11.

Head coach Grant Holmes said: “It has not been ideal not playing for so long, but it has allowed a lot of our long-term injuries to be close to returning.

“The long break gives us the opportunity to start again and hopefully we’ll make the most of it.”
