Oxford City Stars will be without the services of three influential players as they face arguably their toughest weekend of the season so far in South Division 1 of the English National Lea-gue.
Stars, who face a trip to Cardiff Devils today, followed by a home clash with Romford Raiders tomorrow, will have to make do without injured duo Andrew Shurmer and Gareth Endicott, while Alan Green is also unavailable.
To make matters worse, Grant Bailey misses the trip to south Wales today, although he should return tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Wayne Fiddes, who missed last week’s game against Streatham, will be subject to a late fitness test.
Stars have drawn both previous meetings with Cardiff this season, while Romford are new to South Division 1 having come down from the English Premier League last season.
