Mike Bradley, from Faringdon, who fishes for Turner Tackle & Bait, won the prestigious Wye Championship last Sunday from a big field of 160 anglers pegged along the River Wye in Hereford.
The former Isis match ace started off on a feeder with enlarged holes to take his casters and hemp and caught chub steadily throughout the match.
He also fished waggler and caster down the middle, ending up with 34 chub and a solitary barbel for a championship-winning weight of 85.0.0.
