Jelroy Constant fired a four-timer in Garsington’s 5-1 hammering of Adderbury Park to turn up the heat on Oxfordshire Senior League Premier Division leaders Bletchingdon, writes BRIAN KIRK.

Neil McMan was their other marksmen, with Gary Crook replying for the visitors.

The result sees Garsington close to within two points of Bletchingdon, who were held to a 1-1 draw at Horspath, and level on points with second-placed Hinksey.

Andy Dier scored twice as Kennington won 4-0 at home to Eynsham, who are still searching for their first points.

Dier gave Kennington a first-half lead, which Rob Andrew doubled with a strike into the top corner.

Dier got his second with a spectacular overhead kick, and substitute Michael Fisher tapped home No 4.

Mansfield Road eased to a 3-0 win at Enstone with Cameron Knight, Luis McGillycuddy and Hugo Scott netting.

In Division 1, Darren Cuddy hit a hat-trick for Oxford Irish in their thrilling 5-4 home win over Oakley United.

Andrew McMahon and Dale Manuell got their other goals, with Jamie Smith’s treble and Lewis Gabbidon’s strike proving in vain for Oakley.

Lee Clack bagged a brace as leaders Slade Farm United made it eight straight wins with a 3-0 stroll at home to Kidlington Old Boys.

Dave Barrie was Slade’s other scorer.

Chris Scott notched a double as basement boys Long Crendon recorded their first victory with a 4-1 home win over Quarry 09.

He tucked home Crendon’s opener, before a Chris Walker strike and a Kieran Duke header made it 3-0.

Mark Scanes pulled one back after the break, before Scott sealed victory.

Lee Harris scored twice in Broughton & North Newington’s 5-2 home win over Watlington.

Alex Blayachi gave Watlington the lead, but Steve Norman equalised with an overhead kick and Harris’s thunderbolt put Broughton ahead at half-time.

John Little equalised with a header, only for Chris Tillcock to restore Broughton’s lead from the penalty spot.

Steve Norman’s header made it 4-2, and Tillcock then missed a penalty before Harris added his second.

Anthony Simpson also bagged a brace in Northway’s 5-1 home demolition of Chadlington.

Kurtis Kauble, Leighton Moss and Lewis Welby also netted for Northway, with David Souch replying.

Yarnton run out 3-0 winners at home to North Oxford.

Paul Skinner’s penalty after the break opened their account, with Ethan Penny doubling their advantage, and an own goal completing the victory.

Former Oxford United winger Joey Beauchamp hit a hat-trick for Kidlington Old Boys Res in their 5-3 home win against Slade Farm United Res in the Clarendon Cup first round.

Sam Barker fired Slade in front early on and although Mark Taylor headed in the equaliser, Kevin Peaks restored the visitors’ lead.

Beauchamp levelled before giving Kidlington the lead with a stunning 30-yard strike.

Geoff Bestrode equalised for Slade early in the second half only for Beauchamp to complete his treble from the penalty spot, before Wayne Townsend wrapped it up late on.

Beauchamp’s brother, Luke, was on the mark in ten-man Bletchingdon Res’s 6-2 home win over Broughton & North Newington Res.

He got the last goal adding to earlier strikes from Danny Evans (2), Stuart Wells, John Webb and a Gareth Davies penalty.

Andy Cullen and John Webb netted for Broughton, who had Dave Villiers sent off for a second yellow card.

Junior Howards and Dave Rose hit hat-tricks for Adderbury Park Res as they hammered Yarnton Res 6-3.

A double from Jason Dyet sandwiched around a Young strike saw Garsington lead at the break.

Dave Hook slammed in the equaliser in the second half, before John James and Young sealed victory.

Doubles from Tom McCudden and Tom Millar helped Freeland Res to an 8-2 win at Charlton Res.

Goals from McCudden, Nathan Blackwell and Millar saw Freeland ease into a 3-0 lead, before Mark Hobbs clawed one back.

Tom Scoggs made it 4-1, before McCudden and Millar completed their braces.

Ben Hookham scored Charlton’s second, only for strikes from Ethan Simlett and substitute Ash Blackwell to wrap up the rout.

Horspath Res progressed with a 3-2 penalty shoot-out win at Eynsham Res after the sides had been locked at 1-1 after extra time.

James Buhers gave Horspath the lead, only for Liam Rainbow to ensure extra time.

Eynsham midfielder Dan Brooks suffered a serious knee injury.
