Jason Bowers was delighted with Chinnor’s victory over Cheltenham.

Chinnor’s head coach said: “It was a really good performance.

“Another five points at home shows that we are a test for any team.

“I was very encouraged by our first half performance.

“We didn’t allow them space and scored some really good tries.

“I thought Toby Prescott looked back to his best and the back row all played really well.

“We defended really well. Their first try came from a mismatch and they kept alive well for their second.

“We were really good value for our six tries.

“None of the injuries we suffered were serious. They came off as precautions.”
