Halesowen Tn 1 (Osborne 7)

Didcot Tn 0

Didcot Town crashed to defeat at struggling Halesowen, who picked up their first win in 11 matches in the Premier Division.

They were undone by the hosts’ attack as Lee Osborne ghosted in from the right to place a shot past keeper Sam Warrell.

Josh Dutton-Black was Didcot’s main attacking source.

One run saw Dutton-Black beat a couple of defenders before picking out Mark Draycott.

His cross arrowed beyond Halesowen keeper Dean Coleman, but evaded Andy Gunn at the far post.

For the home side, Ruben Izquierdo and Michael McGrath went close in the first half, and they continued to carve out chances after the break.

Anthony Bruce hit a post, while Osborne was denied by Warrell.

Didcot’s hopes of getting back into the game were dealt a blow when Jason Costello was sent off for a second booking.

After this, Didcot did not seriously test Coleman as the home side held on for the points.
