Martin Hall fired a four-timer as Stonesfield stormed to a 5-1 win at nine-man Garsington in the Oxfordshire Senior League Premier Division, writes BRIAN KIRK.

Elliot Powell also netted for Stonesfield, with Dean Simms replying for Garsington, who had Damo Pelns sent off for a bad tackle in the first half before Jay Morris saw red for foul and abusive language 20 minutes from time. Kennington United had seven different scorers in their 7-1 win at home to Rover Cowley.

Nick Giles rifled in a swerving shot from outside the area to give Kennington the lead.

Rob Andrews then raced away after a mix-up in the Rover defence to double the home side’s lead.

Kennington were rampant by now and Kieron Lewis despatched a bullet header from a corner.

Another Lewis header from a corner led to Rob Cattell bundling the ball home to make it 4-0.

Morat Ulas was next on the scoresheet with a cracking finish into the top corner after skilfully evading the Rover defence.

The goal of the game came just before half-time with a superb passing move ending with Cattell crossing for Andy Dyer to bury a header.

New boy Simon Joyce finished off Colin Williams’s cross to make it 7-0 in the second half, before Andy George salvaged some pride for Rover.

Marlon James’s hat-trick gave Hinksey a 3-0 home win over Mansfield Road.

He opened the scoring with a free-kick from 20 yards in the first half, and doubled his tally with a cracking right-footed drive past Stu Whigham after the break.

A cool finish saw James complete his treble later in the half.

An injury to Adderbury Park goalkeeper Charlie Wright proved the pivotal moment as the champions crashed to a 3-0 defeat at Bletchingdon.

Wright suffered the knock saving from Lee Bolton.

But his injury changed the game and substitute Stuart Dunham opened the scoring for Bletchingdon.

With Steve Higa shining in midfield, Ryan Curtin and Andy White added further goals to seal victory for the home side.

Freeland came from behind to secure a 2-1 win at Oxford University Press.

Dave Carter tapped in Ben Curtis’s cross to give Press a 44th-minute lead.

But Tom McCudden levelled for Freeland in the 68th minute, and Gary Brooks curled home the winner three minutes later.

Kevin Mulhearn’s 40-yard drive capped a thrilling comeback as Chadlington snatched a 4-3 win at Long Crendon in Division 1.

Trailing 3-1 with 15 minutes left, Chadlington got back on level terms through Jamie Wyatt and James Cleevely, before Mulhearn’s late stunner gave them victory.

Chadlington had made a disastrous start when keeper Martin Shephed rifled the ball against one of teammates and it ballooned back over his head and into the net.

Chris Scott doubled Crendon’s tally, before Wyatt pulled one back only for Chadlington to fall two goals behind again when Scott grabbed his second.

Karl Tucker hit a hat-trick in Broughton & North Newington’s 5-0 home drubbing of North Oxford.

Tucker’s treble was sandwiched in between Laurence Caro’s opener and a Gareth Davies strike.

Yarnton staged a late rally to snatch a 3-3 draw at Watlington Town.

Trailing 3-1 going into the closing minutes, Yarnton were given hope when John Cox turned a corner into his own net.

And with the last throw of the dice, Paul Peedell snatched an equaliser.

San Bishop had given Watlington the lead, before Yarnton equalised in bizarre fashion when Alex B’layachi’s header back to Tony Yeulet bounced over the keepers’ head and into the net.

Conor B’layachi restored Watlington’s lead after the break and Alex B’layachi fired in at the near post to atone for his earlier error, but Yarnton hit back for a point.

Tony Skinner bagged a brace in Kidlington Old Boys’ 5-2 home win against Quarry 09.

A Danny Burrows penalty, Alex Beckle and Chris Fujak were also on target for Old Boys, while a Ryan Witney penalty and substitute Peter Hall were on the mark for Quarry, who had Jason Maciak sent off.

Slade Farm’s late show secured a 3-0 win at Northway.

The visitors had to wait until the 75th minute before breaking the deadlock with Michael Philpott, Dan Savin and James Allen doing the damage.

Oxford Irish ran out 2-0 winners at Middleton Cheney.

Andrew McMahon fired Irish into a first-half lead, and Dwaine Jackson produced some great footwork to beat two defenders and rifle home the second five minutes into the second half.

Charlton United were held to a 0-0 draw in a dull encounter at home to Oakley.

Daniel Evans bagged a brace in Bletchingdon Res’s 5-0 win at Eynsham Res in Division 2.

Paul Faulkner and Nick Middleton also scored in the first half as Bletchingdon raced into a four-goal lead.

Joe Goodgame netted Bletchingdon’s fifth after the break.

Dan Buckley’s double helped Slade Farm Res to an emphatic 5-0 victory at Enstone Res.

Kevin Peake, Sam Parker and Ross Goodman were also on target.

Paul Wren’s second-half header earned Oakley Res a 1-1 draw at home to Charlton Res.

Neil Bustin’s penalty had given Charlton a first-half lead.
