OCA League Divisions 1-4

SHRIVENHAM went top of Division 1 after they romped to a six-wicket win at Great Horwood on Saturday.

Conor Taylor took 5-44 as Horwood were restricted to 163-9.

Adam Tucker (49) then led the way to see Shrivenham to 164-4.

Horley stayed in touch with a two-wicket win over Tet-sworth.

Nick Tarrant took 4-27 in Tetsworth’s 166 all out, then scored 51 as his side replied with 168-8.

Marcham beat Freeland by five wickets.

Nick Giles (4-50) restricted Freeland to 188-8, before Ryan Mills (50) eased Marcham to 194-5.

In Division 2, Ian Oglesby’s unbeaten century saw Faringdon to a 91-run win over Letcombe to go top.

Faringdon rattled up 202-2, before bowling out Letcombe for just 111.

Charlbury slipped up at home to struggling Oxford Caribbean.

Charlbury posted 191-9, which Caribbean passed with six wickets down, thanks to 69 from Richard Burton.

Division 3’s top two both lost as Stonesfield went down to Eynsham and East & West Hendred slipped up at West Ilsley.

Eynsham rattled up 228-9 as Dominic Coe hit 61.

Dane Bailey then claimed 4-43 in Stonesfield’s 166 all out.

Hendred lost by five wickets at West Ilsley.

They were bowled out for 209, before Mike Wallace (78no) and Adrian Dray (54no) saw Ilsley to victory.

In Division 4, leaders Chadlington marched on with an eight-wicket win over Wootton & Boars Hill.

Martin Shepherd took 3-7 as Wootton were shot out for 115, then Freddie Magee (55no) and Danny Harding (39no) saw Chadlington home.

Chadlington stretched their lead as second-placed Win-slow lost by 59 runs at home to Britwell Salome, for whom John Chittenden played a starring role with 69.
