SCHOOL CRICKET: Lord Bills capture title
LORD Williams’s School won the Oxfordshire Under 13 League title with a nine-wicket win over Warriner School at Bloxham.
Batting first, Warriner could never get to grips with Lord Williams’s bowling attack.
Sam Smith led the way with 4-9, while Will Hawthorne took 3-4 and Tom Condon 3-10 as Warriner crashed to a disappointing 38 all out in the 13th over.
Lord Williams’s lost Condon for seven, but that was the only wicket to fall as the Thame school knocked off the runs in the sixth over.
