Serious Cricket Home Counties Premier League
Manoj Parmar returns from a two-match ban to captain Thame Town in tomorrow’s crunch trip to new Division 2 West leaders Reading.
The experienced batsman and wicket-keeper was suspended by the league after an altercation with Dinton wicket-keeper Darren Risden in their match on July 4.
He leads the side in the absence of regular skipper Sam Lachlan and vice-captain Michael Higgs.
Higgs joins Michael Beard and Will Rooney on a tour to Barbados with Lord Williams’s School, Thame.
Second-placed Thame have lost momentum in recent matches and will need to pull out all the stops to defeat Reading.
Thame Town (v Reading, away): Parmar, P Patel, Bhatti, S Patel, Jeffcock, N Patel, Goggs, Charles, Beedle, Wynd, Jackson.
