Bicester's club championship proved a family affair with Tim Horn and his stepson, Tom Heasley, taking the honours.

Horn was crowned men’s champion after rounds of 71 and 72 gave him a one-over-par total of 143.

Shaun Curtis finished second on 150, with Heasley third on 154.

Heasley, who plays off 11, won the handicap title following nett rounds of 68 and 64.

Four-handicapper Horn was second in this category on 135, with Dave Bigley third on 137.

Meanwhile, Laura Watkins won Bicester’s ladies’ championship with impressive rounds of 71 and 74.

Carly Bosher took the handicap crown with nett rounds of 62 and 69.

Bicester exited the Shaw Gibbs Oxfordshire Foursomes League Knockout Cup after a 2½-½ defeat to Studley Wood in the first round.
