Fiona Camm held on to win Witney Lakes’ ladies’ club championship.

The 12-handicapper looked well set after carding a first round 79, but could only follow that up with an 88.

Her 167 total was three shots better than second-placed Heather Burrage, who had two even more contrasting rounds over the weekend.

Burrage, who plays off seven, shot 92 for her first 18 holes and 78 for her second.

Judy Taylor was third on 177 following rounds of 84 and 93.

Nikki Gander, who plays off 31, claimed the handicap crown with nett rounds of 69 and 65 giving her a 134 total.

Sally Hill was second after shooting 60 and 79 off her 27 handicap.

Sally Baxter, a 21-handicapper, was third with two consistent rounds of 70.
