Tony Magnasco hit the heights over the Easter weekend with eight winners making him a live prospect for the Trainers’ Championship.
A big part of his success, apart from the assistance of Pat Charlett and the powerful Max Picinelli string, has been the emergence of the Milton prefixed litter.
They are by Australian stud dog Crash out of former Oxford grader Pennys Saga.
The trio, who are three years old and in their prime, are owned by Paul Clay.
Milton Cooper won his last race in 26.95, Milton Campbell has romped home his last three races with a best clock of 26.82, while Milton Bradley has won three out of four with a best time of 27.08.
Meanwhile, Oxford bookies are experiencing their worst period for two years.
They have only come out on top in one of the last ten meetings.
