VALE of White Horse Under 13s produced their best performance of the season to crush Gosport & Fareham 5-0 in the Meason Trophy at Milton United.

Anthony Martin opened the scoring after good work by Mason Curtis, and he doubled his tally early on in the second half.

Jared Jones was on hand to tap home No 3 after a Jack Alexander screamer struck the underside of the bar.

And Jones showed his poacher’s instinct again to grab his second and make it 4-0.

A defence-splitting pass from Alexander then allowed Matthew Taylor to wrap up an emphatic victory.

l VALE of White Horse Under 11s kept their County League title hopes bubbling by coming from behind for a 5-1 win over Chiltern & South Bucks at Farnham Common Junior School.

Callum Keane fired Chiltern into an early lead, but Vale were level before the break when Joe Hartley lashed home a stunning shot.

Alfie West chipped the ball over the Farnham keeper to put Vale ahead in the second half.

He then supplied the cross which saw Finn Mason head past his keeper for an own goal.

Sam Fletcher buried a cracking drive to make it 4-1, and Jack Howes sealed victory with a low cross-shot.
