EYNSHAM eased to a 2-0 win at lowly Chaldington in the only Premier Division game to survive the wet weather.

Tom Hall and Tom Jerrerd struck in the first half to give Eynsham all three points.

Jamie Smith bagged a brace as Oakley United recorded just their second victory of the season with a 3-2 win over Yarnton to move off the bottom of Division 1.

The match was switched to Yarnton with Oakley’s ground waterlogged, and the hosts took a first-half lead when Mark Harper pounced on a defensive error.

But Oakley turned the game on its head in the second half with Smith equalising from the penalty spot, before John Armstrong fired them into the lead and then Smith headed his second from a corner.

Adam Browning pulled one back for Yarnton, but the damage had been done.

Kieran Cross’s double helped Charlton United to a 3-1 win at Eynsham Res.

Stevie Gardiner also netted for Charlton, with David Pryse replying.

Ashley Holland hit a four-timer in high-flying Fritwell Res’s 6-0 home win over Broughton & North Newington in Division 2.

Darren White also netted, before substitute Jay Wright wrapped up victory with his first goal for almost two years.

Marston Saints Res also ran out 6-0 home winners, against Yarnton Res.

Kieron Johnson (2), Paul Norton (2) and Jon James were among the scorers.

Kieran Chambers hit a hat-trick as Slade Farm Res marched on at the top of Division 3 with a 4-1 home win over Bardwell Res.

Dan Buckley had set Slade on the way, while Jason Bedford netted for Bardwell.
