Sewell’s well-flighted kick allowed wing Martin Nutt to run in try No 3, with the former converting.

No 8 Jason Welburn’s long run allowed Cross to notch the next score in the corner.

Scrum half Nick Haydon’s quick penalty allowed Maley to bag his first try before the break.

Quins maintained their pressure in the second half, replacement prop Pete Boulton creating the next try for Chadbone with a surging run.

Noyce chipped ahead twice before passing inside for Maley to score his second, Sewell converting.

Replacement back-row forward Luke Buckingham’s long run sent Pearson over for his first and 49-0.

Over-elaboration cost Quins points, but Pearson was on hand to finish off a sweeping move for his second try.

Maidenhead’s Alex Cannon scored and converted an interception try on 72 minutes.

Chinnor, who did not have a game, slipped to fifth in the table after Bournemouth won 58-31 at Reading.
