Oxford United's bid to bring back former skipper Chris Hargreaves has stalled after the two clubs failed to agree a deal.
The 37-year-old midfielder was keen to return to Oxford after positive talks with boss Chris Wilder on Thursday.
But the two clubs were unable to reach a compromise on a deal for the remainder of this season, and Hargreaves was included in Torquay's squad today for their League Two game against Burton.
