Abingdon have appointed a new head coach, Nikki Woodward, a women’s Level 4 coach who has just finished a degree in sport and physical education.
She has been coaching at the Aylesbury Academy and has helped gymnasts to reach British Championship level.
She joins a team of 20 coaches at the club, which has 220 girls and boys aged between three and 16.
Said chairman Neil Moulster: “We have gone from strength to strength since moving into our new home thanks to the generosity of Jennings, the encouragement of Berinsfield Parish Council and the support of a number of funding agencies. Nikki’s appointment is another important step along the road for us.”
