Sam Barton, from Marlborough School, Woodstock, had a trip of a lifetime to the Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens – to do work experience.
The 15-year-old, who also plays for Oxfordshire Under 16s and Bicester, was thrilled to assist one of his rugby heroes, Lawrence Dallaglio, in giving out awards to some of the younger teams.
He also helped out in the medics tent, sat in with the live TV commentators, and helped with the scoreboard.
