The Oxford United Youth and Community Sports Trust will be able to provide Skill Centres to help youngsters across the county, thanks to a grant from Sportsmatch.

The new skill centres will run across Oxon with the aim to involve boys and girls of all levels from nine to 18.

Younger participants will develop their skills with the emphasis on basic techniques and learning to enjoy football.

For older participants it’s a route back into education. They will be taught coaching, first aid, physio work and about food and nutrition.
