Eddie Chambers, from the St Birinus Club, Didcot, won a gold medal at the British Under 18-23 Championships in Kilwinning, Scotland.
The 17-year-old came first in the 62kg group with personal best lifts in the snarch (80kg) and the clean and jerk (98kg).
There were silver medals for Robert Green in the 69kg class with pb lifts of 75kg and 95kg, and for Ben Watson, who defied illness to finish runner-up in the 94kg class with lifts of 123kg and 140kg.
