Oxford Harlequins may have gained a handsome victory over derby rivals Chinnor last week, but there is no complacency in the camp ahead of their long National 3 South West trip to Barnstaple on Saturday.

Quins triumphed by a flattering 35-18 margin to move into third place, but coach John Brodley is not getting carried away with the result.

“We still have areas to work on and have been doing that in training this week,” said Brodley.

“We had trouble halting Chinnor's driving maul and have been concentrating our efforts in that direction.

“I was particularly pleased how we converted our chan-ces into points against Chinnor.”

With winger Huw Jones unavailable, Ollie Campbell returns to the squad after injury, while James Eckert is also back. Tim Knapp re-places Morgan Cross in the back row rotation policy.

Chinnor will be without injured full back Ben Hewitt as they try to get back on track at home to fifth-placed Cleve.

Hewitt suffered a hamstring strain against Quins. Backs Ricky Hopwood and Alex Wallace are added to the squad along with forwards Max Williams and Rob Fen-wick.

After back-to-back wins over Canterbury and Dings Crusaders took them off the bottom, Henley Hawks test their recent improvement with a trip to second-placed Ealing in National 2 South.

They will be without scrum half James Gaunt who in his three games to date has shown sparkling form.

His replacement, Jack Shaylor, has settled into his preferred position having spent most of last season on the wing.

Ealing should have two former Hawks' players, James Winterbottom, and Dino Alex-ipoulos in their ranks.

But this is countered by the movement to Henley from Ealing of hooker Andy Dal-gleish and centre Ali James.

Another club having problems with rolling mauls are Wallingford, who have slip-ped into the relegation zone in South West 1 East.

“We're unable to stopping them,” admitted coach Chris Norrington, whose charges are at home to fellow strugglers Trowbridge.

With Derek Viljoen still injured, Matt Dawes contuinues at scrum half while Ed Jenkins replaces David Keable at prop.
