Sophie Grimson completed a hat-trick in the last minute to bring St Edmunds a 5-1 win at Ducklington in the Oxford Mail Girls Under 13 League.

St Edmunds had got off to a great start with Anna Jiminez crossing for Grimson to net from close range on two minutes.

Charlotte Manning broke clear to equalise for Ducklington, but in the second half St Edmunds made their wind avantage pay.

Sophie Tatford and Jiminez were on target and Grimson’s last-minute finale gave Saints a possibly flattering margin of victory.

Sharna Presley scored the winner from the penalty spot, after being brought down, to earn Didcot Casuals a 3-2 win over Kennington, a team that beat them twice last season.

Kennington twice took the lead through Jessica Wild and Paynton Laver, but Georgia Blowfeld and Presley levelled.

Under 15 Lucy Henshaw scored two and Megan Glyn one as Carterton won 3-1 at Marston Saints Angels, whose consolation came from Rebecca Siefers.

Isi Meade bagged a brace in Radley’s 4-0 victory against Cholsey Bluebirds, after Ciara Robinson and Nicole Miles had scored the first two goals.

A breathtaking double save from Bethan Crook, first pushing a shot onto a post and then bravely blocking the follow-up, was one of the highlights of Wychwood’s 3-1 win against Tower Hill Vixens.

Amber Hubbard, Sophie Collett and Bethany Pratley scored for Wychwood with debutante Ella Butler lashing in Tower Hill’s goal.

Under 14 Ellie Norton notched the only goal of the game as Didcot Casuals edged a 1-0 win at Summertown Stars.

Under 12 Elle Kaplicz and Josephine Taylor both completed hat-tricks in Chinnor’s 9-4 win at Marston Saints.

Natalie Webb’s fine solo goal three minutes from time brought Carterton a 3-2 win at Oxford Bluebirds.

Molly Bishop went past two players and rounded the keeper to fire Carterton in front, but Bluebirds hit back through Anne Fromont.

Webb restored Carterton’s lead yet Ellanor Jones drew them level again, before Webb had the final say.

Katie Pyke’s goal was a mere consolation for Tower Hill in their 10-1 defeat at Swindon Spitfires.

Chloe Brown bagged a brace in Swindon Town’s 4-0 win over Banbury United, Amy Jolliffe and Stephanie Walker also scoring.

High-flying Didcot Casuals shared the goals around in their 5-1 win at Wantage.

Hollie Bristow, Paige Wil-cox, Lauren Talbot (2) and Jordan Harris all netted, with Levi Alder scoring for Wantage.

Wilcox’s effort was the team’s first headed goal in two seasons.

Under 11 Last year’s runaway league winners Oxford City were too strong for Tower Hill Vixens, Blanche Mayo notching two goals in their 4-0 win. Miriam Pritchard and Zoe Washington also scored.

Mollie Dyer netted with a fantastic shot in Didcot Casuals’ 4-0 win at Chinnor.

Rebecca Cox, Rosie Taylor and Ailie Lynn also netted.

Karrollayne Allancar completed a hat-trick as Swindon Spitfires returned from Kidlington with a 5-0 win.

Kayane Alencar and Daniella Granato also scored.

Under 10 Goalkeeper Amber Ianniello starred in Carterton’s 1-0 win at Kidlington where Rebecca Jenkins got the winner.

Phoebe Warner and Steffi Fenwick both hit doubles in Tower Hill Vixens’ 4-2 victory at Chinnor.
