Banbury duo Les Bran and Rupert Baker go into the final round of the National Hovercraft Racing Championships at Towcester Racecourse next weekend with an outside chance of the title.
Bran and Baker lie second in the Formula 2 championship 18 points off the pace.
But with 25 points for a win they could snatch the crown.
Organised by the Hovercraft Club of Great Britain, 50 drivers will battle it out on a specially-designed course of land and water at Towcester.
