Jon Jukes rattled up a maximum 180 and put together a 160 finish as Original Swan got the better of Rose Hill Community Centre in a 7-2 victory.

Simon Smith put Greene King ODDA Premier Section side Swan ahead with victory against Dave Witherwick, only for the Section 1 outfit to level when Gary Grant beat Tim Tricker.

However, Swan stormed into a 5-1 lead with wins from Nick Cobb, Jukes, Pete Smith and Terry Wood.

They topped it off with a 2-1 victory in the pairs.

Kevin Wilkins hit two maximums as Premier Section side Shears squeezed to a 5-4 win against Section 1’s Littlemore British Legion.

Pete Jones beat Jim Pryde to give Littlemore a shock lead, before Shears led 3-1 through Wilkins, Dave Exell (180) and Wes Topley (180).

Although wins from Alan Eckart and Nick Baldwin saw Littlemore level, a 2-1 pairs success saw Shears snatch it.

Three Horseshoes edged to a 5-4 win against Section 2 rivals Steventon Social Club.

Fred Parsons got a double maximum, while Nigel Hodge hit a 180 as Three Horseshoes took a 2-0 lead.

Derek Lucas pulled one back when he beat David Butler, but wins from Paul Bustin and Derek Waine gave Shears a 4-1 lead.

Ray Norton then beat Three Horseshoes captain John Smith, but the visitors held on, despite Steventon taking the pairs 2-1.

Cricketers Arms saw off Quarry Gate 7-2 in Section 3.

James Harding (180) and Dennis Moss (180) gave Cricketers a 2-0 lead, only for Quarry to level with wins from Gary Roberts and Dave Cox.

Cricketers then stormed back through Dave Hopkins and Dylan Davies, before a 3-0 pairs win saw them ease home.

The Section 4 clash between Marsh Harrier and the visiting George Bar saw both sides level at 3-3 after the singles, but the Harriers’ 2-1 pairs win gave them a 5-4 victory.

Prince of Wales hit top form as they cruised to an 8-1 success against Nuffield Bar.

Section 6 challengers Berinsfield Community Centre did their title aspirations the world of good with a brilliant 8-1 win over the visiting Crown Inn B.

The ODDA annual meeting will be held at Three Horseshoes, Old Marston, on September 5 (7pm).
