Oxfordshire Under 25s opened their Home Counties League programme with a 90-63 defeat against Berkshire at Kidlington BC.
The highlight for Oxfordshire was Sam Muir’s four, who finished strongly to win 25-17.
And Gary May’s rink fought back strongly to lead by four shots after 20 ends, but dropped five on the last end to lose by a single shot.
Flashes were awarded to Lee Wilkinson, Chris Gilkes, Jon Jordan, Dan Swanson, Jim Hopkins & Jack Foreman.
Rink scores J Woodward, R Full, D Wakeman & S Muir won 25-17.
L Witcombe, C Gilkes, S Hastings & J Jordan lost 19-13.
J Foreman, L Wilkinson, G Schwab & G May lost 21-20.
W Soden, R Pink, S Cooper & C Miles lost 33-5.
