Alex Thomas scored twice as King Alfred’s Community & Sports College, Wantage, came from two goals down to pip Cherwell School, Oxford, 3-2 in a repeat of last year’s Oxfordshire Schools’ Under 12 Cup final at Letcombe FC.
Cherwell took the lead through Josh Smile after ten minutes, and Atriel George added a second with a free-kick off the underside of the bar.
Thomas’s brace brought King Alfred’s level, before Tyrone Lee hit what proved to be the winner before half-time.
