Didcot Tn 5 (Parrott 1, Bartley 13, John 39, Swayne og 73, Harper 90)
Didcot re-ignited their Division 1 South & West play-off bid with a convincing victory in Hampshire.
They got off to a flying start as Andy Parrott headed home Josh Dutton-Black’s cross ,inside 60 seconds.
A collision between Didcot keeper Michael Watkins and defender Martin Brown led to Brown coming off.
Despite the set-back, the lead was soon doubled when Michael Bartley superbly lobbed home keeper Dave Hook.
Watkins had to be alert to thwart Dave Cotter and Bobby Swayne, and he produced a superb one-handed save to deny Rory Williams from 20 yards.
Substitute Philip John made it 3-0 before half-time, after Jack King’s flick released Bartley, who laid the ball across for John to drill home.
The home side started the second half brighter, but Hook denied John on a Didcot counter-attack.
Victory was secured when King’s free-kick ricocheted off Swayne and dribbled across the line.
Didcot substitute Chris Harper blocked a shot from Ashley Jarvis on the line, and in the dying moments, Harper made it 5-0 as Neville Roach ran through on the right before crossing for the replacement to slot home.
