Three teams from Bartholomew School, Eynsham, have been crowned Oxfordshire badminton champions.
Hannah Broadhurst, Gerda Bachrati, Ella Kemp, Hattie Nixon and Hannah Cummings triumphed in the under 14 girls’ competition at Blackbird Leys Leisure Centre, while Lucy Fisk, Jenna Grace, Kathryn Wilson and Rachel Adams took the honours at under 16.
Ethan Simlett, Sam Harper, David Richardson and George Wagerfield made it a hat-trick of titles for Bartholomew by claiming the under 14 boys’ crown.
King Alfred’s Community & Sports College, Wantage, were the under 16 boys’ winners.
Now all four county winners go through to the Centre Parcs National Schools south east regional final back at Blackbird Leys Leisure Centre on Monday.
There they will face the county champions from Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire and Kent.
