Banbury United player-boss Kieran Sullivan has demanded a massive improvement starting with Tuesday's British Gas Business Premier Division derby clash against Rugby Town.

On Saturday, the Puritans lost 6-0 home defeat, their heaviest loss of the season.

“We just weren’t good enough,” said Sullivan. “That was one of the most embarrassing 90 minutes I have ever been forced to endure. We made an ordinary side look good. Hopefully, it was just one of those days, because we can’t let that happen again It was a horrible experience.”

Oxford City will be without Jamie Brooks (knee) and Ryan Harrison (thigh injury) for their trip to Mangotsfield where City seek their sixth win in their last seven games.

Abingdon United give fitness tests to Billy Beechers (flu), Anaclet Odhiambo (virus), Mark Janes (knee) and Julian McCalmon (foot) as they look for their second successive win when Burnham visit Northcourt Road.

Meanwhile, North Leigh travel to Hellenic League side Clanfield in the quarter-finals of the Oxfordshire Senior Cup.

The tie has been switched to Clanfield as North Leigh’s pitch is unplayable.

Joe Burnell returns from suspension.
