Bicester Town picked up another valuable three points as they edged past basement boys Harrow Hill at Oxford Road in the Premier Division on Saturday.

Paul Manns put the Gloucestershire side in front from the penalty spot after eight minutes, but Bicester levelled midway through the half through Ben Williams, who also scored his side’s second goal as his shot was deflected past the Harrow keeper.

On the hour, Bicester made it 3-1 as Williams broke down the right and crossed for Matt Blenford, who blasted home.

Harrow Hill hit back with Eddie Weyman reducing the arrears from the penalty spot and Tim Fletcher heading home an equaliser.

But Tim Fowler’s men weren’t to be denied and John Curtis shot low into the bottom corner five minutes from time to secure the points.

Kidlington 0

Old Woodstock Tn 2 (Thorne 46, Mills pen 76)

Kidlington's good run of form came to an end as they fell to defeat against Old Woodstock.

Having removed the remnants of snow, the pitch was passed fit, and after a quiet opening, Kidlington created the better chances.

Mark Flanagan sent the ball into the visitors box, only for Denel Thomas to miss the target from close range.

Five minutes later, Jimmy Deabill controlled well on the edge of the box, before turning the ball into the path of Flanagan, who fired over.

The last action of the first half saw Lewis Gabbidon miss a golden chance when, from 12 yards, his shot flew well over the bar.

Within a minute of the restart, Woodstock went in front.

Kidlington lost possession and the Nick Thorne took a pot-shot from 40 yards out.

The ball cannoned back off the bar into the path of John Mills, who chipped the ball back over Hutton and into the net.

Woodstock doubled their lead when Kidlington’s Lee Bolton handled inside the penalty area.

Mills took the spot-kick and sent Hutton the wrong way in increase his side’s advantage.

Wantage Tn 1 (Langford 72)

Wantage Town were hit for six in a Valentine’s Day massacre.

Wantage’s cause was not helped as captain Gary Swann was sent off ten minutes after the break for hauling down Almondsbury striker Jing Yuan Cai.

Kane Ingram led the way for the home side with a hat-trick, while Cai chipped in with a double.

Richard Kear netted No 6, with Wantage replying thr-ough Ellis Langford.
